- New for 2024 – Dev Nationals ONLY: To ensure that all qualified athletes are able to secure accommodations, a cancellation policy will be implemented for hotel rooms booked prior to the event. See below:
Cancellation Policy – 2024 Development Program National Championships:

- Cancellation occurs within 24 hours of booking – no penalty
- Cancellation occurs after 24 hours but prior to 7 days to arrival – $100 penalty per reservation
- Cancellation occurs 7 days (or less) prior to arrival – $100 penalty per reservation PLUS late cancellation fee of 1-night’s room + tax.
*If cancellation is required due to athlete injury, a doctor’s note will be needed to consider any waiver of cancellation penalties.
It is important to note that Dev Nationals is not the only large event taking place in Daytona Beach the weekend of May 9th – 12th. Please note that USA Gymnastics has secured enough hotel rooms in various blocks to account for both the MAG and WAG communities. However, individuals who hold rooms prior to qualification events do impact hotel block availability. In order to make sure there are enough rooms for those booking after their athlete qualifies, we ask for your assistance in helping to communicate this new policy for Dev Nationals.
